I never understood the crazy line-ups for brunch.  I'd rather stay at home in my pj's and whip up a breakfast in minutes - and for a fraction of the price! It's just eggs people, calm the eff down.

Recipe: Fried Zucchini Blossoms


If you've never had fried zucchini blossoms before, think of them as a classier Italian version of a jalapeno popper.  Unless you grow your own  zucchini,  zucchini blossoms may be pretty hard to come by.  If you're lucky like me, you might be able to find them at your local farmer's market.  They don't keep well - so you'll need to use them up rapidamente!

Alright, so it's mid-March and it'll be summer before you know it.  You"ll look down at your muffin-top by the pool and think "Why did I eat like a Sumo wrestler in training for months?"  Well I can't help you with your winter insulation (especially since I have my own) but I can help with a low fat healthy dessert recipe!  I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but my husband Kruno and I devoured it so fast we only have  this semi-blurry picture as evidence.   That's how good it was.
